Product overview

The FD5 Linear Actuator from SANXING is a high-performance linear motion solution designed for reliable push/pull operations in industrial and auto applications. It combines a compact, lightweight design with robust construction, making it suitable for scenarios requiring precise linear movement, such as automation equipment and industrial machinery. Because of its internal metal gear design, its service life is much more longer.

Features and Benefits

1. High Load Capacity: Delivers up to 1500N push force and 1000N pull force, suitable for heavy-duty applications.
2. Customizable Stroke: Offers a wide range of stroke lengths from 25mm to 1000mm, tailored to specific operational needs.
3. Robust & Durable: Constructed with aluminum alloy housing and zinc alloy components, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.
4. Built-in Safety Features: Factory-preset limit switches prevent over-travel, enhancing operational safety.
5. Flexible Control: Supports basic switch/relay control and can integrate with PLCs or custom systems; optional synchronization enables multi-unit coordination.
6. CE Certified: Meets international safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance for global markets.
9. Compact Design: Streamlined form factor allows easy integration into space-constrained systems without compromising performance.

Control options

Basic Control: Typically controlled via a DC power supply and a simple switch or relay for forward/reverse operation, or Sanxing control systems for more easy direct control
Advanced Control: For precise positioning and synchronization, the actuator can be integrated with PLCs, motor controllers, or custom control systems. The optional synchronization function allows multiple FD5 actuators to operate in unison for coordinated movement.

Applications

The FD5 Linear Actuator is ideal for:
Industrial automation (conveyor systems, material handling)
Medical equipment (patient beds, rehabilitation devices)
Automotive (trunk lifts, seat adjustments)
Agricultural machinery (valve control, implement positioning)
HVAC systems (damper control, vent operation)

Product dimension

Dimension Diagram
The FD5 features a compact, streamlined body with standardized mounting points. The dimension diagram provides precise measurements for the housing, mounting brackets, and stroke length, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
Installation Method
Mounting: The actuator is designed for easy installation with standard mounting brackets (included or optional).
Minimum Installation Distance: Calculated as the stroke length plus 105mm, ensuring sufficient space for full extension and retraction.
Orientation: Can be installed in horizontal, vertical, or angled orientations, depending on application requirements.

Performance characteristic curves

Speed vs. Load
The actuator’s speed decreases as the applied load increases, as shown in the characteristic curve. At 12V/24VDC, the no-load speed ranges from 5 to 35 mm/s, with corresponding full-load speeds adjusted based on load capacity.
Current vs. Load
Current draw increases linearly with the applied load. For 12VDC and 24VDC models, the current curves illustrate the power requirements under different load conditions, ensuring efficient operation within the specified duty cycle.

FAQs

All actuators come with a 12 month warranty. User error and misuse will not be covered under warranty. Please contact with us to supply you the best solution.
Of course, sample orders are accept.
Please send us your inquiry, including the input voltage, load capacity, speed and stroke ( extending distance ) of the actuator, as well as the order quantity, it would be helpful to us to recommend you with a right actuator and offer a more accurate quotation.

Usually shipping by express, by air and by sea. Express is normally the most quickest but also most expensive way. It’s the usual way for samples. By sea is the best solution for big amounts. We could arrange the shipping for you, or you can use your own forwarder to arrange the shipping. Please contact us for further information.

Yes, of course we can. We are OEM supplier for years and professional to make. But you need to give us the authorization if it is necessary.
