Performance characteristic curves
The FD17 compact linear actuator is equipped with three sets of professional characteristic curves to reflect its electrical and mechanical performance under load:
Speed VS Load (12/24VDC): Shows the linear relationship between operating speed and load force. The actuator’s speed decreases gradually as the external load increases, presenting a stable negative correlation curve for 12V and 24V voltage modes, ensuring predictable speed regulation under different load conditions.
Current VS Load (24VDC): Reflects the change in working current with load under 24VDC input. The working current rises steadily with the increase of load, presenting a smooth positive correlation curve, which provides a reference for circuit matching and power supply configuration.
Current VS Load (12VDC): Displays the current-load characteristic under 12VDC input. The current changes linearly with the load, consistent with the actuator’s low-voltage high-efficiency operation law, supporting stable current output under different load pressures.
Frequently Asked Questions about FD17 Compact Linear Actuator
Q1: What voltage options are available for FD17 linear actuator?
A1: The FD17 series support 12VDC and 24VDC as standard working voltage. Other voltage versions can be customized upon request.
Q2: Is FD17 waterproof or suitable for outdoor use?
A2: FD17 is designed for dry indoor use only and does not have waterproof protection. Please avoid any contact with water or damp environments.
Q3: Can I customize stroke length and thrust for FD17?
Q4: Does FD17 linear actuator come with built-in limit switches?
A4: Yes. The standard FD17 actuator is equipped with built-in mechanical limit switches to stop automatically at fully extended and retracted positions.
Q5: What is the typical duty cycle of FD17 micro actuator?
A5: FD17 is designed for intermittent operation. Please avoid continuous long-hour running under full load to extend service life. Contact us for detailed duty cycle data.
Q6: What mounting method does FD17 adopt?
A6: The standard design features clevis mounting on both ends. Custom end fittings are available is the standard connection can’t match your mechanism.
Q7: Which applications is FD17 most commonly used for?
A7: It is widely used in indoor applications such as smart home lifting furniture, medical auxiliary equipment, small industrial automation devices and office automation systems.
